The RI Philharmonic Music School has found creative ways to continue offering music education to kids, teens and adults in 2021. It's simple - our virtual tuba lessons are easy to access with the help of free online software. Much of this software is already built into your computer or phone, while others are quick to download and easy to use! Our faculty have been using Facetime, Zoom, Skype and Google Hangouts, but are open to other applications if requested. Have questions about tuba lessons? Call: 401.248.7001.
Private tuba lessons offer a chance for kids to be more hands-on with their learning. They learn autonomy and independence, and they get the opportunity to self-direct their studies. This approach can carry over, giving them insight and knowledge about themselves in other ways and they see how practice pays off and the discipline it takes to learn something new.
Beyond improving their cultural literacy and skills in art and music, increased access to arts education also has remarkable impacts on academic, social and emotional outcomes. If you're a new inquirer, click on
