about the
suzuki method
Developed by the late Japanese teacher Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki method uses the “mother tongue” approach to learning, based on the ease with which young children learn to speak their first language. Dr. Suzuki discovered that these same principles apply when teaching young children to become fine musicians. This marvelous early childhood approach helps parents create positive musical environments in their homes and guides them in their daily schedule as they help their children learn to play an instrument.

VIRTUAL
suzuki violin lessons
Suzuki lessons focus on ear-training, technique and beautiful tone. When the student has developed solid fundamental playing skills, music reading may be introduced. The Suzuki approach encourages a balanced, triangular relationship with the teacher, parent and student.
Our private Suzuki violin lessons offer a chance for students to develop more agency in their learning. They'll learn autonomy and independence and they get the chance to self-direct their studies. This approach gives them insight about themselves; they soon realize how practice pays off and the self discipline it takes to learn something new.
Not only does increased access to arts education have remarkable impact on academic and social outcomes for a student, but it also improves cultural literacy skills in art and music. If you also don't have a private instructor and are interested in registering, click on
