The Music School has announced that the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Summer Wind Ensemble (RIPYSWE) is open this summer to all current and new students and alumni in Symphonic Winds and Wind Ensemble–all free of charge.
Mark your calendar: Rehearsals with Conductor Dr. David Neves will be on Monday, August 5, and Monday, August 19, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., at the Music School’s Carter Center in East Providence. We will be performing pop tunes, band tunes, marches and more!
The performance will be on Wednesday, August 21, 7 p.m., at the East Providence Weaver Library on Grove Avenue. (Rain date: Wednesday, August 28, 7 p.m., same location)
