Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra Appoints New Violinist

Recognized for her exceptional talent at an early age, violinist Xiao Fu received a full scholarship and earned her MM degree at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. A winner of numerous awards and prizes, Ms. Fu has made solo appearances with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, including a Carnegie Hall concert in 2018. She is also an active chamber musician and a passionate teacher. Ms. Fu has played with the Portland and Cape Cod symphonies as well as with the Rhode Island Philharmonic, which she joined in the first violin section in December 2022.
